  • Portinatx - This family oriented resort sites at Ibiza's remote northern tip has a romantic setting around a deep bay with a golden crescent of sand. It is the only sizeable resort on the north coast, a region of pine woods, mountains, olive and citrus groves and pretty coves under tall cliffs.

Ibiza airport serves the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. With only one terminal it handles 85% of the total volume of passengers  during the six months of the peak season (May-October). The airport is served by many international airlines and offers year round scheduled inter-island and mainland traffic, with flights operating to primary business hubs, such as Barcelona, Madrid and Palma de Mallorca. The airport is located at 8 kms (5miles) to the south west of Ibiza Town (Eivissa), near San José.

Ibiza has mild winters and hot summers. The island is famed for having 300 days of sun each year. From November to April the average temperature is about 15º C/ 59º F. The summer season begins in May with clear sunny days and temperatures in the mid-twenties. In August and September the temperature rises to over 30º C/ 86º F. Between the months of June and September, there is very little rain fall. From November to April there is more rain than during summer months, however, rain rarely falls for more than a couple of days at a time so it is unlikely to ruin your whole holiday.
